Creative pursuits have always been part of my life.  As a little girl, I hoarded craft supplies in my room, and was always "making things".  At sleep-away camp, I spent most of my time in the Craft Hut painting plaster of paris figurines and stitching together leather change purses.

As we grow older, it's easy to lose sight of our passions.  Family and work obligations seem to take all of our time.  For years I did little creatively, but the popularity of scrapbooking caught my attention and I am back at it with more enthusiasm than ever. 

I have become (admittedly) addicted to paper.  I have more patterned paper in my work room than you can imagine!  From scrapbooking, I have branched out into other types of paper art.  I began selling my creations at local shows, and opened an online shop at Etsy. 

 
My idea for Paper Angel Craft Retreats came when I tried to find a place to get together with some friends to do some crafting.  I found Retreat houses in other states, but nothing here in my area.  I hope to provide others with a wonderful creative experience, as well as pamper them with amazing food...thanks to my chef husband Brad and his business, Laurier Catering Company.
